Description of Class
Blocked? We’ll take care of that in an evening chock-full of writing prompts based in images, games, eavesdropping, and memory.
There will be time for sharing work, but the focus will be on generative writing, not critique. Participants will leave class with six story openings, a plan to complete at least one of them, and an understanding of how to keep their writing practice limber through observation, play, and reflection. Students should bring a few overheard lines of dialogue to be used in a collaborative exercise.
This class is not strictly for fiction writers. All genres welcome.Top
