Description of Class
Finding it hard to organize your chapters, stories, or essays in your book-length project? We’ve all been there.
Come learn the basics of Scrivener (a word-processing program and outliner designed for authors)! This single-session course will offer an overview of how Scrivener can help you organize and structure you writing projects, introduce you to some of its distinctive tools, and teach you how to move comfortably among the various interfaces it offers for engaging with your work.
Whether you’re looking to impose some order on a sprawling project-in-progress, find the right platform for starting something new and ambitious, or just want to stop feeling left out of conversations among your writer friends at parties, this class can help you get started.
You are welcome, but not required, to bring your own computer, with Scrivener (or the free trial) installed. The instructor for this course will be working with scrivener for PCs. Alternate explanations will be available for mac users.Top
