Description of Class
You’ve written the manuscript and now you want to get an agent. As someone who was picked up from the infamous “slush” pile, Jamie Freveletti knows how difficult and intimidating getting an agent can be. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
This single-session class will cover how to write a query that will get noticed and how to tailor the query to the agent. We’ll discuss best practices when querying and provide concrete examples of good and bad queries and discuss the tools and online resources every new writer should utilize when making this important decision. Finally, we’ll create one or two sentence elevator pitches for your manuscript for that moment when an editor or agent asks “what’s your book about?”
This class is just in time for our Writers Festival! Take Jamie’s class and put your skills to the test during our Meet-an-Agent sessions.Top
