Description of Class
Comic books have become an ubiquitous part of popular culture, with superheroes dominating the film, television, and streaming landscapes. But where do these larger-than-life stories come from, and how are they made?
Through a careful examination of some of the most seminal works in comic book history (both superhero comics and independent comics), author Michael Moreci will take students on a journey through the past and present of the comic book medium. This single-session course will also explore how comics are made, from script to art to the final product you see on the shelves. As a veteran of the comic book industry, Moreci will also discuss the art behind a comic script.
This course will include a craft exercise and Q and A.Top
