Youth Institute at StoryStudio Chicago

Texting on your phone is fun, but it doesn’t help you tell a great story in expressive language.

The StoryStudio Chicago Youth Institute opens young minds and nurtures talent for any middle school or high school student who enjoys creative writing and is eager to learn more. The Institute is also a wonderful training ground for students preparing for those important college application essays and beyond.

In Fall 2008, StoryStudio Chicago offers two youth classes:

Creative Writing Sampler-a four-week exploration of fiction, non-fiction and poetry, and
Writing for Standardized Tests--a two-week class just in time for the PSAE test this October!

Check back as we continue to add youth classes meeting after school hours on weekdays and Saturday mornings.
