WordPlay: One-Day Retreat at Ragdale
Having trouble staring down the blank page but have stories you want to tell? Interested in experimenting with fiction as well as stories from your life? Or, maybe you just want to write and don't know where to begin.
Join us for this special one-day retreat at the historic Ragdale artists' community.
This workshop will give you exercises to help you get the first words out, and strategies to keep the story flowing. We'll write story beginnings and learn to enjoy the process of starting from a word, image or idea.
Writing prompts and discussions will be tailored to both beginning and more experienced writers.
The day's schedule:
10am to 10:30am: arrive and tour Ragdale
10:30 to 12:30: class time with generative writing prompts and discussion
