Writing Your Novel

Writing a novel can be a daunting task. But you don’t have to do it alone!
Writing Your Novel is perfect for writers just beginning their book-length projects who want direction on developing outlines, understanding character and, especially, finding the right voice with which to tell the story. To write a novel you have to love what you are writing and find ways to keep that alive.
This class will:
- provide daring and useful tools for getting started
- provide writing prompts to help you make crucial decisions about your book
- focus your efforts and offer problem solving ideas
- delve deeper into scene setting, character and language
- help you find the right “voice” for your story
- workshop each student’s opening pages.
Useful and focused feedback on written submissions is provided by the instructor.
