The Third Annual StoryStudio Writers’ Retreat will be March 28-30, 2008.
Get away, get outdoors and experience a breakthrough with your writing. 
Treat yourself to an intensive and fun writing immersion weekend and enjoy a cozy wooded Michigan setting where StoryStudio Chicago’s Writers’ Retreat takes over the entire Warren Woods Inn. Free yourself and your pen in a guided, interactive writing weekend – get away and get results — your writing is worth it!
This year will again feature two days of writing, workshopping, socializing and communing with nature. We’ve rented out a beautiful bed and breakfast in Union Pier, Michigan, just a few blocks from Lake Michigan.
Writing sessions will focus on honing our craft and getting deeper into our characters—and our stories.
We’ll gather Friday afternoon, enjoy dinner and a chance to get to know one another and share a few tales. On Saturday and Sunday, we get to workshop, analyze published stories and take advantage of private writing time or group discussions. Immerse yourself in an inspirational classic writing setting…it worked for Thoreau!
The accommodations are lovely and most rooms feature a private bath. We do have one room available for two folks to share (separate beds) and of course, all the other rooms have double beds should you wish to share one of those.
The Retreat Fee Includes:
