Description For middle school, junior high, and high school students who need extra help with writing, including help getting started, organizational strategies, editing and rewriting techniques, we offer intensive, personalized writing instruction from veteran educators.
The national emphasis on high stakes testing has forced many schools to budget their curricular time, allocating the majority of classroom time to reading and math. For this reason, recent years have seen a general decrease in writing education in the schools, even though strong writing skills are perhaps the most crucial tool a young person needs to get into college and succeed in the workforce.
Whether your teenager has trouble distinguishing when it’s appropriate to use “Instant Message/Text Language,” struggles with organizing his thoughts in an expository or research paper, panics at the sight of a blank page, lacks critical knowledge of grammar and sentence structure, or merely needs a boost to take her writing from good to great, StoryStudio can help.
