Getting Short Fiction Ready for Publication

Description: So you’ve written your short story, you’ve workshopped, revised, and polished it until it’s perfect… now what?

In this class we will discuss the submission process, including where to submit your work, how to write a great cover letter and bio, and review real life examples of submitted work. We’ll cover some common problems with submitted stories, and some ways to fix them.

For the workshop portion of the class, students are encouraged to bring a short story they are planning on submitting.
