Pub Nights

We know that sometimes after class students’ minds are still buzzing with literary thoughts. And when you get home or back to work, you just might not find someone who’s interested in delving into the nuances of the omniscient point of view, examining the use of metaphor, or detailing all the stops on the narrative arc.

StoryStudio Chicago’s Pub Nights is a way for current students and members to chat about writing and the publishing industry over beer, wine, or water. We’ll start this casual evening of writerly beer-books-blur.jpgconversation immediately after class at 9:00 p.m. Meet us at the studio and we’ll walk together to Red Brick, two blocks west of StoryStudio at 1938 W. Irving Road. Or, feel free to meet us there!

Join us for this fun (and free) event (drinks are on you!) and meet fellow writers. Debate the existence of writer’s block. Argue plotting vs. writing by the seat of your pants. Gush about your favorite writing book. Whatever the topic, you’ll be surrounded by folks who love writing as much as you do.
