Potluck Reading
Start with a little memoir, throw in a side of poetry, toss in a short story and sprinkle in some screenplay, and what do you have? Well, a StoryStudio Potluck Reading of course!
We’ve invited our members to read from their works in progress or published pieces for this literary potluck. Writers across all genres will be joining us at the studio for an informal reading. The Potluck Reading provides an opportunity to meet other StoryStudio members and discover literary works beyond the genre you write in.
We’ll have a sampling of writing along with coffee and tea – feel free to bring a snack to share if you like. Please join us for this fun event to celebrate the work of StoryStudio students, make new writer friends, and chat about the writing process.
StoryStudio members scheduled to read are: Lauren E. Whalen (Fiction), Diane O’Neill (Memoir), Dana Wood (Fiction) and Allyson Kendall (Fiction). We also welcome drop-in readers. If you have words to share, please bring no more than five pages and we’ll include extra readers as time allows.
