Having trouble staring down the blank page? This workshop will give you exercises to help you get the first words out. We’ll write story beginnings and learn to enjoy the process of starting from a word, image or idea.

About the Instructor: Scott Onak’s stories appear or are forthcoming in Mid-American Review, Willow Springs, and Quick Fiction. He holds an MFA from the University of Idaho and works as the Program Manager at StoryStudio, which often means entertaining the studio mascot, Zia the Greyhound.
