Interior Worlds: Works of Margaret Moreland Claiborne Kennedy
(1914-2007)
Join us for a very special event at StoryStudio when we unveil the paintings of Margaret Kennedy. A selection of her paintings will be on display and for sale during the opening reception on Friday, December 5.
Kennedy led a fascinating life which she explored more thoroughly in her work. The paintings feature complex imagery and subtle suggestions of persona which translate to strong and affecting emotions.
Kennedy died in 2007 and these are the works remaining after her death.
StoryStudio is pleased to be hosting this event and Interior Worlds will continue to be on display through February 2009.
A portion of the sale proceeds will benefit Urban Gateways, a center for arts education.
