Food & Travel Writing 1-Night
Tuesday, September 14
We all have memories of meals and travels that have changed our lives or the way we look at the world.Using essays to get us started by Julia Reed, Bill Bryson and Calvin Trillin, we’ll explore our relationship with food, family, emotion and identity. In this one-night course, we’ll experiment with the way in which travel enlightens us and makes us understand “home” more clearly.
In-class prompts will get you writing and a mini-workshop will give you some immediate feedback.
