4 Stories in 4 Weeks
SORRY, THIS CLASS HAS ALREADY STARTED. SEND US AN EMAIL OR CALL US AT 773.477.7710 TO DISCUSS OTHER COURSE OPTIONS.
Begins Thursday, April 5, 2012
Writing four short stories in four weeks is crazy, right?
Not here at StoryStudio! Writing four story drafts in a month is not just totally doable, it’s freeing. Imagine writing, writing, writing without any of that pre-editing or the “fraud” police showing up at your door.
Each week will offer a writing prompt, specific enough to leave you focused on your draft, and open enough to let your words take you flying. We’ll discuss elements of the growing genre of Flash Fiction, as well as the endless opportunities afforded by short form fiction.
There will be lots of time for in-class warming up and writing, as well as time for brief workshopping.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a workshop-focused course. We’ll be focused instead on cranking out the drafts. If you’d prefer a course with facilitated workshopping to get feedback on drafts you’ve written, take a look at Fiction Workshop.

Who Should Attend:
- Adults, 18 and over
- Writers at all levels interested in working on fiction.
